How to save console logs to file in Chrome

Looking to save console logs to share with your developers?

If you want to do it the old & manual way, here’s how in 4 steps:

1. Go to the page of your choice and open Developer Tools pressing on Control+Shift+I (for Windows & Linux) or Command+Option+I (for Mac).

2. The panel will open in either the ‘Console’ or ‘Elements’ tab.

3. Click on the ‘Console’ tab (Figure 1).

4. In the logs area, right-click and then press on ‘Save as’ to save to a file (Figure 2).
